The weekly theme is provided for
inspiration, to stir creativity within both taggers and nontaggers.
How you 'interpret' the theme and choose to portray it is
entirely up to you. Get creative, show us your interpretation.
But
most all - have some fun!
The following is a list of weekly
activities as well as some fun games which will run on occasion
throughout the month. Participation is required in at least one per
week.
Mystery Monday We will start the week off with a
"mystery" theme with which to create
Tuesday Tuts Formerly known as CotWs, Stina will continue to send these levelled tuts out for those who wish to participate. These will be sent out in various levels of Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Translated.
Whacky Wednesday The wackiest of us all, Dusty, will be bringing you a tube or graphic or something equally humorous or comical to work with to help inspire our creativity You never know when a silly tube might inspire you to design...just imagine what we can come up with!
Thursday Tubes (formerly Tube of the Week) OK Snaggers, this one is for you! Each Thursday, snaggers are free to send in a tube or mask for the taggers to create with - I wonder what we can come up with?
Font Friday We end the week with something for
the Snaggers again. this time sharing with us a font to use in a
creation
We can never have too many fonts now, can we?
Tutorials: Formerly known as the Challenge of
the Week, now coming under the banner of Tuesday Tuts these are
tutorials sent through the group to help members gain a better
understanding and insight in using PSP. Levels vary from Beginner to
Advanced. Please check the Tutorial pages for Current and past Tuts.
Tube (Thursdays): This is the Thursday Tubes in which
members can "snag" a tube to share with the rest of the
Garden, and which MUST in some way relate to the Monthly Theme (as
listed at the top of the page). Each Tube sent in MUST state in the
email's subject line "Tube - name or subject of tube", so
as to ensure a members' participation is not overlooked.
Snag-a-Tag: This one is particularly for the Snaggers.
All that you have to do is "snag" or request a tag for any
member (or any number of members you choose) and send them through
the list with the Subject "Snag-a-Tag". You can do this as
many times as you wish throughout the course of the month.
Tube
n' Tag Pass: This is for taggers AND snaggers alike! The object
of this *challenge* is when the call is put out through the main list
for players, both taggers and snaggers are requested to respond with
their *status* of tagger or snagger. The names will then be placed
into pairs of snaggers and taggers, then issued again through the
list. The snagger then snags a tube and passes it along to their
tagger, who then makes a tag using that tube.
Siggy Swap:
This is for everyone, though you do not have to be able to make tags
to participate. You only need to "tag", "snag" or
"request" any tags that fall under the current weekly
theme for another member. This will also be incorporated into a
fun game where names will be collected and then distributed through
the main list with the name you will tag/snag for.
Tube/Graphic
Challenge: This one is mainly for taggers, though anyone can give
it a go! A tube, graphic or font or all of the above will be sent
through the list and the object is to then make a tag using as many
of them as you can for someone in the group.
Monthly Tag
Offer: This one is for the taggers. Send the tags you wish to
include in the Monthly Offer to Christina
complete with any rules to accompany your requests and the email
address you wish them to be sent to. If your tags are to be uploaded
to a Fotki album at the end of the month, please state that in your
rules, and provide the URL.
All submissions to the Monthly Tag
Offer are to be received by 27th of each month, as requests will open
on the 1st of the following month and run for 2 weeks.
