Microwave Caramel Corn

Here is a fast Caramel Corn recipe that I got from a friend
years ago. It is done in the Microwave.
Pop 3/4 cup of Popping Corn
(You will end up with about 3 quarts (or 12 cups) of popped
corn)
Put popped corn either in a Very Large Microwave Safe Bowl or a
Large Brown Paper Bag (If you can find one). Set aside.
CARAMEL:
In medium size, microwave safe bowl, add the following
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Margarine or Butter
1/4 cup Corn Syrup
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
Stir, microwave on high for 2 more minutes.
Add 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda,
and stir fast.
Pour Caramel over Popped Corn and stir. (Be careful it is very
hot)
Put Bowl or Bag in Microwave with Popped Corn and Caramel in it.
Microwave for 1 minute.
Take out and stir Popped Corn or shake Bag to help Caramel get
on all of your Popped Corn.
Microwave for 1 more minute.
Spread Carmel Corn on waxed paper on table and let cool.
Then enjoy!
