Picnic Taco Nachos ***** Vicki


5 C Tortilla chips
1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed drained and mashed
1 can (4 oz.) chopped mild green chilies, drained (opt)
2 tsp Taco seasoning mix
2 tomatoes, chopped (I use Roma)
Green onions sliced (about 2)
2 C shredded Jack cheese ( 8 oz.)
Heat coals or gas grill. Spray 30 x 18 inch piece of heavy-duty aluminum
foil with cooking spray. Spread tortilla chips on foil. Mix beans,
chilies and taco seasoning mix; spoon evenly over tortilla chips. Top
with tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with cheese.
Wrap foil securely around tortilla chips. Cover and grill seam side up,
4 to 6 inches from medium heat until cheese is melted. (8-10 mins)
