Labor Day has come and gone and fall is just around the corner. We do so look forward to some cooler weather here in the south. Hope everyone in the rest of the U.S. are enjoying some cooler weather and to all our WOSIB sisters around the world have a great month of September whatever time of the year it is for you.

We have some announcements to make in the Quilters Garden. It is indeed a pleasure for me to announce that Jan has agreed to become the Head Assistant in the Quilters Garden. Jan has our members playing a new game. We are doing a Halloween Secret Pass game and we know how much fun those are. When we finish that, we will start on a Christmas one. It is always so much fun when everyone reveals their quilts. We look forward to exchanging squares and revealing our Secret Halloween Quilts. They are always so different and unique.

The Quilters Garden has also decided that we will only make one birthday and one anniversary quilt this year. So in December we will put up our 2008 quilts for the Celebrators Gardens. We also thought it would be nice to change our Holiday quilts each year so when you come by for a visit, be sure and have a look at our holiday quilts as they will be changing each month. We started changing our quilts this year as it had been two years since they had been refurbished, but now they will be re-done each year. So come on by for a look and if you would be interested we would love for you to join us at the Quilters Garden. We do a lot of fun things in this garden and would love for you to come join us.
