Fae

Wow,
Hard to believe yet another month has come and gone and now it is almost time for us wee fae's to hide away in our little homes to escape the cold winter frost. Seems we never get enough time to dance in the sun :o)

I have a few announcements to make, one of course being the Fairy with Attitude for August, which I am sure you are all eager to see :o) and our anniversary badges for those who have stayed in the Garden.

Some Fae Garden changes ...
Fae Resources:
We have added some more resources for you all which you can find at our Fairy Site here: www.wosib.org/wosibfae For those of you who are not as poetic as others we have added a few little fairy poems that you can use :o) If you would like to submit some for our resource page please feel free to send them in :o)

Fae Assignments:
Fairy Princess Mandy and myself have decided that the assignments need to be changed. So instead of sending in 5 dustings a month we would like for each Fae to send in 1 dusting a week. It seems that some either forget or wait too long to get dustings into us, as a result we rarely have more than 5 submissions which just isn't kosher ;o) so let's try this out and hopefully it will work better. There is also the three strikes rule that all gardens implement. If you miss 3 assignments then you are out ... All gardens do this now as Jeri and Idgie had decided to use this method. So please please please let's try to get our work in :o)

And now a rather personal announcement.
Let me first say that my experience in this garden has been one of complete joy, laughter and enchantment. I have cherished every moment I have had here. Although I have been known as Little Faery Witch, Fairy Princess Sicara and Fairy Queen Sicara I have loved each and every little Fae that has come my way as all of them. The Fae Garden was the first garden I applied to join, I joined 2 years ago (September 12) as Little Faery Witch. My first year I was named Fae of the Year, to my utmost surprise :o)

I've received Fae of the Month a few times and then when Fairy Queen Rosei had decided to step out I applied and to my surprise was given the Fairy Princess position. Not long after because of some RL circumstances I was then named Fairy Queen Sicara and have stayed as such for quite some time now :o)

I've been blessed to be able to "work" with such a great team, I never could have pulled anything off without my partner in crime, Fairy Princess Mandy. We've always worked as a team and even through some downs I have managed to pop her on the head enough to get her straightened out LOL It has been my honour and privilege to be able to come online and play with you all :o) I'd like to thank for allowing me to be your Fairy Queen for as long as I have. But now the time has come for a change. It has become apparent that I just don't have the time I used to, and although time is irrelevant for a Fae such as myself, my human girl just doesn't seen to be able to catch enough of it.

So it is with a very saddened heart that I step down as Fairy Queen ... I would like to introduce you all to Fairy Queen Mandy I know she will do a great job leading the Fae! I know you will all show her the love and respect she deserves :o)

As for the Princess role ... I would like to introduce you to Fairy Princess Sicara that's right lol I have decided to stay on with Fairy Queen Mandy to help out, I will be cutting down on other gardens and will try to help out where needed :o) With Fairy Duchess Shaylee on LOA and dealing with some real life issues we have decided to have yet another Fairy Duchess ... so I would like to introduce you to ... Fairy Duchess Spirit ... you may recognise her as our own Spirit Faery!

Congrats on your new positions! I hope these changes will make for a much more efficient and active Fae Garden :o)
