TLC News

Well, its October!!! My favorite month of the year! I love the color changes and weather that fall brings. I spend some time looking back on the past year and try to assess what I need to do for the coming months ahead.

With that, its with a bit of sadness that I tell you this is my last column as TLC Garden Head. The past year and a half as your Garden Head have been so rich and fulfilling!!! I feel so blessed to have had the chance to be a part of this exceptional and loving garden. Our members give so much of themselves selflessly every single day here! However, I feel the need to step down at this time. With my WOSIB Leader duties, my websites, and my personal life looking up, I feel I am not giving the garden the full attention it deserves.

To take my spot, I've selected one lady who has really shown us all the meaning of "TLC". With her big heart and her capabilities, I know the garden will be lovingly cared for in her hands. Effective Oct 15, the new head of TLC will be our own Lady Nathalie!! I can't think of a better person to head this garden!!

To Regina, Mandy, Akaysha, and Natasha, I cannot thank you ladies enough for your continued assistance and hard work in keeping our TLC Teams going full stream! And for the rest of our TLC members, I thank God for your consistant and loving work. You all are a fine example of what WOSIB is all about!!

The duties of the TLC Spoiling Team includes giving members a little extra TLC during times they need it most. We love showing them how much we care by giving them that little bit of extra attention. Everyone can use a bit of tender loving care now and then; whether you're feeling blue, a bit under the weather, or have a major upheaval going on in your life, our Garden is here for you!

I can't believe it is already October, times really goes very fast..
