Quilters Garden
The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we in the Quilters Garden want to pause to remember our dear sister KimTX. Speaking for myself, I would like to say that I remember KimTX for all her support with phone calls, emails and the little crochet breast cancer ribbon she sent to me in supporting me when I had my breast cancer surgery. She got me through so many days when I thought I could not got back for another treatment. That was our Kim.
How ironic that she should leave us on my birthday. I refer to her now as my Birthday Angel and I still correspond with her husband, Marty. I shall always treasure the memory of my dear sister KimTX and I wanted to do a graphic with wolves in it in remembrance of Kim because I never saw her put up a graphic that didn't have a wolf in it, so to my Birthday Angel Kiim, this graphic is for you dear sister. Love you Kuntry Sue.
The other graphic is from the the Quilters Garden made with love in remembrance of our dear sister KimTX. May her soul rest in peace. We all loved you dearly KimTX.
Here in the Quilters Garden, we are having such a great time. Jan is leading us in playing a Halloween Secret Pass game. We can't wait until the quilts are revealed and we can see what everyone's quilt will look like. These are always such fun games to play. I know we are going to do a Christmas Pass next. Come join in the fun!!!! We look forward to exchanging squares and revealing ou Secret Squares. They are always so different and unique.
In December we will put up our 2008 quilts for the Celebrators Gardens. We also thought it would be nice to change our Holiday quilts each year so when you come by for a visit, be sure and have a look at our holiday quilts as they will be changing each month. We starting changing our quilts this year as it had been two years since they had been refurbished, but now they will be re-done each year. So come on by for a look and if you would be interested we would love for you to join us at the Quilters Garden. We do a lot of fun things in this garden and would love for you to come join us.
