Welcome to October 2007

It is amazing how quickly this year has flown by, as the Sister Gardens have shared in love, laughter and smiles. I guess it's true what they say, Time flies quickly, when you're having fun! September found our Sisters very busy, as we prepared for Graduations. Please join the Sister Gardens Staff as we congratulate our newest Graduates Acinny, Alfhild, Amy, Charlene, Edwina, Kate, Kim, Kit-Kat and Sherry! I am very pleased to announce six of our graduating Sisters have chosen to continue mentoring our newest WOSIB Members, by becoming Big Sisters. Alfhild was the lucky Girlie who received a Little Sister the day after graduations and, she will be mentoring one of our two newest Sisters, Debra. Edwina has also begun to mentor her first Little Sister Nadia.

The Sister Gardens Staff would like to Welcome our two newest Sisters; we do hope you have been made to feel at home within our Little Corner of the WOSIB.

The month of October has been packed full of fun fall activities, as our Assistant Head Cathie hosts our weekly events. Our Assistant Debbie continues to share of the wisdom daily by sending in The Quote of the Day, while our Sister Jill is hosting the Question of the Week each Friday. I would like to personally thank these three Sisters for giving of their time and, sowing the seeds of love within the Sister Gardens. It has been a wonderful learning and growing experience and, I am honored to walk amongst such fine Ladies.

With Christmas right around the corner, we have begun the process of signing up for a Snail Mail Christmas! It promises to be a wonderful time of sharing the Love via regular mail. It's always wonderful to receive the gift of love, outside of Cyber Space. If you would like to join the Sister Gardens for a Snail Mail Christmas, Hanakkah, Winter Soltice, and Kwanzaa please send the following information to the Sister Gardens Head by November 15th.

I do hope to see a few of our Sisters outside of the Sisters Garden, signing up for this years Snail Mail Christmas so our Big, Middle and Little Sisters can shower you with love this Holiday Season.

If you are new to the WOSIB Sister-Hood, we invite you to join us in the Sister Gardens. Though our main purpose is to mentor our newest members by helping them find their way around our WOSIB Home, we are also known for sharing of the love. If you have been around awhile, and would like to join us for this reason, please feel free to flutter on by; we would love to have you.

I do hope the month will find you each blessed with smiles, as we honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Fall Festivals and Halloween! Stay safe, have fun, keep a smile on and as always, we'll be leaving a light on for you!
