Its OCTOBER!!!! WHOOO HOO!!! In case you can't tell, this is my absolute FAVORITE month of the year!!!! We're having surprizingly hot weather right now (in the 90's!) but since its Indian Summer here in the Midwest of US of A, that's to be expected.

Speaking of warm and colorful, our TLC Graphic Artists have been hard at work! They are not only filling up the Card/Gift Shop, but also working on a new monthly challenge. I give them a graphic or photo and let them go to town on it. We'll have Garden wide voting on the entries every month, so stop in and see us, maybe even cast a vote!

Our Support ladies are getting a welcome help; when they make pages for our other WOSIB sisters, we have a new system in place to make it easier on them, but still full of warm, caring wishes for those who need it. And thanks to the WOSIB Quilters, we also have quilt pages to add to the growning number of "gifts" for our sisters!!! Thank you so much, Quilters, for this, I'm sure, very time consuming gift to us in TLC!

And our spoilers - what can I say. I wish you all could really see the amount of work our ladies do every week. Some of them actually take the time to make gifts, tags, send tons of ecards, and other goodies just for our sisters who deserve and need that little bit of extra love. I think our most heartfilled ladies are on this team!

I must say, after being a part of TLC for a year now, I'm amazed each and every week of the amount of energy, love, and compassion our teams put forth. And it makes you feel good to know that you've done your part to brighten another person's day. I don't think our teams could do what they do without our wonderful leaders...Idgie, Lady Sessiie, and Tina?? You guys are the best. And their assistants, Megan, Akaysha, Mandy, Kimber, and Aletha, work their hearts out to help the team leaders carry out the weekly tasks. Love ya all, girls!!

Spoiling Team

Dear Ladies!
I must reiterate the opening line in my Co-Leaders letter - Where did September go? Smiles... I must have blinked longer than I thought! We are Blessed to Welcome two New Spoilers this past month, Vick & Debbie! We are delighted to have them join our important team, and we really need them right now as our membership is down.

I cannot stress enough just how important the TLC Spoiling Garden is to our membership! I believe we are needed even more in the long, cold, gray months of winter, so if you have a little extra spare time, please consider joining the team and help bring some cheer to our dear sisters who need it. Also, if you know of someone who needs a regular dose of TLC, please let us know so we can add them to our lists!

Even with your own busy lives to deal with, and this month, added injuries, ie; Broken Bones, Sprained Body Parts, Concussion, Bumps and Bruises, both of you have kept up with your duties without complaint. Support Team

Our support team only had to make 7 sets of pages for September to support our needful sisters. We've also sent quite a few cards/emails to show our support for those who need it. We have a change in how our pages are made - now all our pagemakers have to do is make a main page, insert gift and quilt links, and wow! they are done!!! Not only do our ladies get gifts from all of the other gardens/members, but they get a beautiful quilt made especially for them by the WOSIB Quilters!! We appreciate that so much; thanks Quilting ladies for the wonderful new pages we can use for our members in need!!!

We haven't had any new members for the past month; if its something you are considering, or enjoy making someone smile, hold their hand during rough times, or signing and leaving little gifts in guestbooks, come on over!! We'd love to have you!!

Graphic Artists Team

Well, since Tina stepped down, I have taken over the Graphics Team, with the help of Aletha. With Tina's blessings, I changed our site up a bit. A new webset, divided our shop into categories (Thinking of You, Sympathy, Get Well Soon, Congats, which is divided into 4 subcategories: New Baby, Wedding, Grad, Misc) and hopefully you all will find it easier than before to navagate. We want you to remember our Card/Gift Shop is for ALL WOSIB members to use. We still have the personalized section, where you can choose a graphic and have one of us personalize it in any way you wish. We no longer will be doing Birthday or Anniversary cards, since Designers have those for you, but we hope that when you need something special for other occasions, you'll come and check us out - we're found at:

Also beginning in October, I'm challenging our team members with a monthly contest. "Unleashed Graphics Challenge" will be taking a single graphic or photo and allowing members to run wild with it, making any one of our different card categories, and entering in for voting in mid month. Not only will we gain even more fresh cards, etc, for you, but our members will push themselves to their limits to come up with bright ideas!!
