BEAUTY TIPS

Hello all my beauties!!! Hope everyone is enjoy the new season!!

After all the beauty tips I've sent out, this month's tips is very dear to my heart...homemade remedies!!! After all, in this day's economy, buying all the expensive regimens out there can start to cost a boat load!! So why not scramble around your cupboards for things you already have on hand and see what you can do to replace the expensive stuff!!!

Facial Remedies
Masks are not only a great way to make your skin feel great, they are actually beneficial to removing dead skin layers, unclogging pores, and allowing your precious skin to breathe easier!! Here's a few homemade recipes to give your skin a boost:

Miracle Whip Renewal
YEP!!! This is the same stuff you buy (Kraft is the brand name) to make salads, put on sandwiches, etc!! Apparently the vinegar used in the making of the stuff is great for removing dead cells!!

Pull your hair back so that it cannot get into your face. Next, put a thin layer of Kraft Miracle Whip all over your face, up to your eyelashes, but taking care NOT to get it in your eyes, all the way down your neck. Leave on for 10 minutes. The vinegar smell may get strong, but try to leave it on the entire 10 min. Next, massage in; your dead skin cells will ball up into gummy little balls. Rinse well with tepid water, then cleanse as normal. Your skin should feel smoother and more toned. Its said if you do this every day, within 6-8 weeks your skin will be completely renewed!!

NOTE: I tried this myself. I didn't smell the vinegar so much, but I did smell like a egg salad sandwich!! But it was worth it!!!

Facial Exfoliater Recipe
2 heaped tsp fine oatmeal (throw it in your blender or food processor for a few seconds)
1 tsp. baking soda

Combine ingredients, and add enough water to make a paste. Apply to skin and rub gently. Rinse and gently pat dry.

Banana Wrinkle Fighter Recipe
Banana is wonderful as an anti-wrinkle treatment. Mash 1/4 banana until very creamy. Spread all over face and leave for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water followed by a dash of cold. Gently pat dry.

Grape Cleanser Recipe
Grape juice makes an excellent cleanser for any skin type. Simply split one or two large grapes, remove pips and rub the flesh over face and neck. Rinse off with cool water.
