Signature of Distinction

Greetings ladies of WOSIB!

Slowly but surely the Signatures of Distinction Garden is finding its feet, though the ride is still a bumpy one while members try to gain ground. *g* The whole prospect has been a learning curve for members and staff alike, and while I have set numerous tasks in place, I find I have had to alter them to ease any confusion I may have caused implementing them. LOL So yes, it is trial and error all round!

Our Monthly Theme for October was “Halloween” and also “Nature’s Beauty” – of which members received a point for every tube or tag submitted under those themes.

For the month of October, I took an unofficial LOA which never really eventuated because I still ended up being just as active as I was in previous months! LOL Despite this, we still featured the Monthly Tag Offer, and by now those who requested should have all received their requests from the respective taggers. We certainly have some talented ladies in our Garden, with some wonderful creations on offer each month.

Last month I introduced a new feature to our MotM - Tagger of the Month and a Snagger of the Month. This is to also try and encourage some more activity amongst the Snaggers, where participation is especially low. So…who are our Tagger and Snagger of the Month for September? Check out the Member OTM pages to find out.

This month I re-introduced an older feature we had – TotW (Tube of the Week) – an activity for the Snaggers to participate in. While it is called Tube of the Week, in actual fact the tubes to be shared are based on the current Monthly Theme. Kind of a new twist on an older activity. *g*

A big thank you to SOD’s members for their endurance and patience throughout this transition period, and for their wonderful creativity.

Just a friendly reminder that SOD is now a full participation Garden. When we were just a fun group lurking was permitted but it is no longer. I would like to encourage all our members to take part - I do try to create activities for ALL members to take part in but it’s not always easy. *g*
