Welcome to Spotlight..

Please tell us about yourself & your family: There's really not much to tell. I have an adult daughter and I have a forever 20 year old son.I have a spoiled cat and I just became a great aunt for the first time. I have a niece born Nov 5th.

What are your hobbies and interests: My interests are wildlife and animals. I'm a birder. I enjoy reading, listening to gospel music and I also listen to songs from the seventies. I'm starting to get my yard wildlife and bird ready for winter, plus getting it ready to be certified in the backyard wildlife program.

Tell us a bit about where you are from: I was born and raised on the far south side of Chicago. I have just moved to Indiana a couple of months ago, so that for me is a big change.... but a good one so far.

When did you joined WOSIB: I joined WOSIB in Oct of 2007

What Gardens are you currently involved in and to what capacity: I'm in the sisters garden as an assistant head. This was the first garden I joined and I love it. I'm also in the critters garden, which is a natural garden for me to be in..lol. I'm also in the recipe garden...it's a terrific garden. And I'm in the Celebrators garden as a gifter/signer, because I do not know how to make pages and graphics. What's the best thing about Wosib: The best thing about WOSIB is the caring and the nonjudgmental way everyone in it is. It is nice to be accepted for who we are.

Anything else you would like to add: That I'm honored to be in the spotlight this month and that I'm so very glad I joined WOSIB. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to all and to all a very good and blessed New Year
