The Quilters Garden would like to begin our newsletter this month by wishing our Sisters in WOSIB a very Happy 7th Birthday. Doesn't seem possible that we are celebrating 7 years. We have come a long way ladies and we are a great group and The Quilters Garden is pleased and privileged to be a member of WOSIB. So Happy 7th Birthday Ladies. Let's all CELEBRATE!!!!!

We would like to take this time to wish all the mothers of WOSIB a very Happy Mother's Day. We hope your children remember you with lots of love that will bring you much happiness and joy on this Mother's Day 2007. Happy Mothers Day from the Quilters Garden.

As we celebrate Memorial Day this month, let us pause to remember all those brave men and women who have fought and died while serving their country. Also, let us continue to keep those men and women who are serving in Iraq close in our thoughts and prayers.

Last, but by far not least in our thoughts in this newsletter for May, we would like to convey my most heartfelt condolences and prayers for the families and victims of the Virginia Tech massacre. Thirty three families are forever changed by this, and countless others whom were wounded or witnessed the shootings will also bear the scares for a lifetime. We shall be keeping them in our thoughts and prayers.

Now to the events of the Quilters Garden. We are still busy playing our PAS-A-Square game. We are trying to let everyone have their turn at getting to start the square. We are all having fun.
