Critters’ Garden continues to grow and blossom – in keeping with the time of the year! Welcome to new members Rain Corrine, Angel, Star and Akaysha who have all joined us this month. I’m sure they will really enjoy it here amongst fellow animal lovers. Also back with us is Sweetness, our Assistant Head, who has been in hospital undergoing major surgery but happily is now on the mend. We are all delighted to see her back again and we have missed her, and I would like to say an enormous “Thank You” to Kat, our other Assistant Head, who held the fort so admirably while Sweetness was away! One of our regular competitions is for our Pet Of The Month : this month we have another ‘double award’ with Lyka and Piep, who are both owned and loved by Helen. You can see them and read their story on *~~* /\ *~~* \/ *~~* /\ *~~* \/ *~~* /\ *~~* We no longer have compulsory assignments in Critters’ Garden, largely because we never ever had 100% compliance and I hate nagging at people! I have, however, made it mandatory for our members to sign condolence guestbooks for the Pet Loss Sympathy pages which are such an important part of the work of Critters’ Garden. Sadly, the last month has seen a spate of pet losses which has kept our pagemakers busy sending love and sympathy to bereaved pet owners in WOSIB. This service is not just for members of Critters but for all of WOSIB, so if you know of a member who has recently suffered the loss of a dearly loved pet and would appreciate a sympathy page or a memorial graphic, please visit our Rainbow Bridge section http://www.wosib.org/critters/Rainbow-Bridge/ where you will find request forms. As promised last month’s newsletter, our Easter Critters’ pages are still up and running and you can still see them on *~~* /\ *~~* \/ *~~* /\ *~~* \/ *~~* /\ *~~* If you have a pet and love animals do come and see us at http://www.wosib.org/critters/ and consider joining our group. Our Garden’s membership continues to grow steadily and we take great pleasure in welcoming new members : it's a lovely Garden and we have a lot of fun, so why not come and join us.
