Garden News from Critters' Garden February/March 2008
Hello everyone!
Critters’ Garden continues to grow and blossom! Welcome to Jai’byrd, Tamisha and Linda who joined us in February. I’m sure you will enjoy it here amongst fellow animal lovers.
And we welcomed back our Wosib Critters’ sister Heather. Good to have you back sweetie!
Fortunately all our critters are prospering and doing well. Alfhild’s cat Pusti had four kittens at the end of December 2007 and in the meantime three of them have found a new home to stay. Number four stays with Alfhild for she and her family love tortoise-shell kitties.
No member lost a pet in February and that’s GOOD news.
February’s Pet of the Month was voted for by all garden members.
We all fell for Malcolm owned and loved by Moon (Vic). Congratulations to both! You can read all about them on http://www.wosib.org/critters/POTM/winners2008.html .
We had a special Challenge this month, which was won by Christine : you can see the photo which needed a caption and all the entries on http://www.wosib.org/critters/FebChallenge-vote.html (the winner was number 3!)
This months records have been kept of who has done what throughout the month and we produced an award for everyone who has given 100% participation in Critters’ Garden!
Dianne gave out Participation Awards again. The lucky February-ones are Bonnie, Cathie, Helen, Lia, Shirley (KK), Rosie, Vikki.
Both Dianne and Helen are aware that not everyone is able to participate due to LOA or sickness!
Guestbook signing: the same members as in January signed all guestbooks. We really don’t know how we can persuade them otherwise, but we’re thinking about it. We know it’s compulsory but it’s a shame though we cannot encourage them all to sign.
It has been a rather quiet month and nothing spectacular happened. We’re all longing for sunny weather and Spring :).

If you have a pet and love animals do come and see us at http://www.wosib.org/critters/ and consider joining our group. Our Garden’s membership continues to grow steadily and we take great pleasure in welcoming new members: it's a lovely Garden and we have a lot of fun, so why not come and join us.
