QUILTERS

Spring is in the air in Texas. We have experienced some beautiful 70ºF days with lots of sunshine and you can almost smell spring just around the corner. The flowers are beginning to bud and it just feels great in the south. I know you ladies in the northern states and Canada have had a rough winter with all the snow. I send sunshine to you from Texas.

The Quilters Garden continues to steadily grow and, as always, we still have fun and are always doing a quilt here and there as well as our monthly quilts. We added on new member this month Jean. Her URL is http://arographics.jeansheart.com/quiltindex.html Jean is a returning member who had to leave for health reasons and we are so pleased she is able to return.

We are still in the process of replacing our holiday quilts and as always we do our anniversary and birthday quilts each month. Our ladies come up with beautiful squares. These may be viewed at http://www.wosib.org/quilts/completed.html

We are looking forward to Easter next month and hope we will have a little more news then. All this snow has kept our ladies inside or shoveling snow to get their cars out to go to work.
