BIG SISTER

Welcome to March 2007, from the Sister Gardens!

Spring is approaching and, the tilling of the Sister Gardens, is complete! It has been an amazing learning experience on our end and, we are most thankful to each of you, who lifted us with your wings when our own were failing us.

Our Sister Gardens have undergone many changes within the last few months; changes we are most excited about sharing with the W.O.S.I.B. Sister-Hood! We invite you to put on your party dress and your dancing shoes, it's a Sister Gardens Grand Re-Opening Celebration and it won't be the same without YOU!!!!

During the process of tilling our Gardens, we decided more than our Web Sets needed to be changed. With three forums, many of our Sisters were missing out on some of the silliness. Having adopted Murphy Chuckles as our mascot, we simply could not have that so we decided to downsize a bit. (Murphy likes to share the chuckles!) We will now be hosting two Yahoo Groups instead of three. The Big Sisters and the Little Sisters Chat have remained open and, we invite each of you to come share in the love and laughter with us!

We are the most excited about our new title of Honorary Middle Sister. This title will be given to Graduating Little Sisters, who do not have the time to devote to being a Big Sister, yet wish to remain within the Sister Gardens to share of the love and laughter. In the past these Sisters felt in a state of limbo, stuck between their busy real world lives and, their desire to share of the Sisterly Love. Honorary Middle Sisters may also take on some of the tasks our Big Sisters. They will be called upon to mentor Little Sisters when one of our Big Sisters are on LOA, or to offer someone on one support to a Sister in need. We think this is going to be a welcomed honor for many of our Sisters, who stop in from time to time to share of the Sisterly-Love.

We want to take a few moments to acknowledge the participants of our Web Set Contest and give a BIG THANK YOU, to both Chrissy and Kat for their submissions. Sadly, only one web set submission could be voted in; however, we were very blessed by them both...so THANK YOU LADIES! (You'll have to stop by the Sister Gardens to see which of our Sisters won the contest!)
