What is your name/WOSIB name and location?
Kuntry Sue/Texas USA

What other WOSIB Gardens do you belong to?
I am Head of the Quilters Garden and I am a Senior Member of WOSIB and am the LOA Manager on the Organizational Staff.

Tell us about your other hobbies (not WOSIB related)
I am very active in the Episcopal Church, sing in the choir, am a licensed Chalice Bearer and served in many other capacities in my younger years. I dabble in oil painting and crochet. I collect capidomonte, bells, clocks, snow babies and birds. I enjoy PSP and like to make graphics for my Adoption page.

The rest of my time is spent as a caretaker for my husband who suffers from mild to moderate Alzheimer's so this all makes for a well rounded day. :)

What are your favorites? Food? Movies? Flowers?
My favorite food would have to be a very medium rare steak with all the trimmings and a nice lucious cheese cake for desert. (My cardiologist would have a fit LOL) I have many movies I like. I loved musicals when I was a teenager and a girlfriend of mine and I would go and see them over and over but one of my all time favorite movies is "Mr Holland's Opus". Every school teacher should see this movie. Flowers, well of course being from Texas I would have to say I love yellow roses and I really do, but my favorite flower is a calla lily. They are just so rare and so beautiful.

Tell us why you wanted to be in the Celebrators garden and how long you've been in the group?
Celebrators Garden was the first Garden I joined when I joined WOSIB and I joined it in August 2001 and have never left. I enjoy helping to work with the pages to help the ladies celebrate their birthdays and anniversaries. It really does make one proud to be associated with this Garden when you get a "thank you" saying, "If I hadn't received these wonderful pages from all my sisters in WOSIB, I would have had no one to help me celebrate my special day". Now, that has to touch your heart and make you happy to know you did something nice for some lonesome person.

Tell us about something that is going on in your life right now that has you so excited?
When you are a person like me who has lived through breast cancer, and come very close to a heart attack and will turn 70 years old in October the thing that excites me is to "wake up every morning." LOL

Garden Stats
We are excited to announce Orca accepted Our Assistant Head position. She’s been asset in garden for 5 years. Always been there ready to help anytime needed. When I took Head of Garden last October, I was told (LOL) hands off Orca… she’s mine… mine… mine… by a couple of other garden heads. WELL….. UMMM… LOL

You’ll be seeing a couple of new names in guestbook entries! Pleased to introduce our newest gifter signers, Whispy Angel and Alfhild.

Please to say we now have 34 members in Celebrators Garden. 8 Pagemakers, 15 Gifter/Sigers and 11 Partiers.
