Hi Ladies;
I hope you all enjoyed your Spring for those of you who live in the U.S. and for those who don't, I hope you are enjoying what ever the season is where you live.. Right now were in the beginning of Summer in the U.S. And we had some wonderful recipes coming thru.. Although it is a busy time for us during the Summer with out door work, you know planting and tending to our beloved flowers if we have any.. vacations and special family outings we are still getting loads of wonderful recipes thanks to all great ladies..

We had two new Ladies join our Garden in June, Debbie and Jenn.. Debbie is a returning member and we are so happy to have her.. Welcome back and of course Welcome Jenn..

We had a great month.. Our theme for June was Grilling, Short Cakes, and Summer Drinks along with our regular theme.

We had a winner for our ROTM and it was ME LOL here is my recipe for

RHUBARB SHORT CAKE
Diane

Grease a baking pan round or square what ever you prefer, then slice into it a layer of rhubarb about 2 inches thick and put 3/4 cup sugar over this.

Pour batter of
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vanilla
over the above.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
