Staff Member of the Month
Our SMOTM has really stepped up in the past few months. She has not only reorganized her garden, but also has filled in wonderfully when the head was on LOA. She's kept her ladies inspired, busy, and happy. She added pages to their website and has kept on keeping on. She recently became head of the garden and there is no doubt that she was the perfect choice. Our July 2007 Staff Member of the Months is....FairyQueenAndrea!!!!

CELEBRATORS
OUR COTM has been with the garden as Pagemaker for about a year. Her graphic design is outstanding. Her design ability prompted my asking her to take staff position in garden. She designed and maintains the main celebrator site. She also designs the beautiful pages the gifts are put on that are collected from gardens that are sent to our sisters having special days. On a average does 4 pages a month for special days. Our COTM for June is MandyMoo.

CRITTERS
Congratulations to our Critter Keeper of the Month....Akaysha!
Akaysha is a long time member of the Critters Garden. A true animal lover, she has been active with Ferret Rescue in Canada for many years and is always willing to be the "voice of experience" for those with critter issues. As ferrets become more popular, more and more people are becoming first time ferret owners and Akaysha is happy to give as much advice as is needed to help our members be the best moms they can be to their new little friends.

We are pleased to announce our Designer of the Month for July 2007
Hafapea
Hafapea is a wonderful member of the Designers Garden - she is always willing to help another members. Her suggestions often lead to improvements for our garden members and she is prompt turning in all of her assignments. She often turns in more than is required. It is a great pleasure to have this lady as a WOSIB Designer and work with her in our Garden.

1. What is your favorite Literary Garden Nook and why?
Fiction and whimsical. I have long day at work and I like to get away from reality a lot, so when my mind takes me down a strange and twisting path I follow. I never know what I�ll meet along the way.

2. What do you like best about being a member of the Garden?
The people. They are all so outgoing and seem to care about each other. I�m not a big talker, but love to read. I pop in a response just to keep everyone one their toes.

3. Do you believe "the pen is mightier than the sword?" Why?
Your thoughts come out and can be expressed far more deeply. A beautiful piece of written work can sometimes stay with you a lifetime.

4. If you had the chance to speak on international television and your speech had to be about you, what would you tell the world?
I�m not anyone famous or special, but I am somebody. If you love yourself, your friends and family, you will be remembered by those that count.

5. Do you have any pets?
Oh do I have pets! Yes, nine of them. Five dogs, two cats and two horses.

6. When life gets you down, who can make you laugh?
My pets.

7. Do you collect anything? If so, care to share?
I collect dragons and with them a lot of dusting chores!

8. Can you tell us one thing about yourself that we might find surprising?
I was born in England, but spent the early part of my years growing up in Africa. Saw my first snowfall at the age of ten and wasn�t impressed!

9. What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
Paint. I love to paint animals. My walls have pictures hung all over the place with them, and of course so do my family and friends as I give the away as presents.

10. Who or what inspires you to write?
I love to read Sarah Douglass or Terry Pratchett. They are my favorite authors and at opposite ends of the spectrum. However, I get inspired to write when I am quiet on a moonlit night, or walking in a wooded area full of ferns and moss, or near an ocean or pond.
