TLC Garden News Happy July everyone!!! I hope those who had celebrations were happy and safe!!!

June was a sort of "cleaning" out month. We heads went through lists, emailed members, and made subtle changes in the site and the gardens. One big bit of news, Mandy, who used to be head of support and stepped down due to her class work, has graciously accepted the position of Assistant Head to Lady Sessiie in Support. How lucky are we!!!! She knows the ropes and has been a huge asset to Lady Sessiie. Thank you so much for rejoining our staff, Mandy!!

Idgie sent out a "satisfaction" type survey to our spoiling members. Thanks to all of you who replied back!! We were so excited to hear that most of you enjoyed the spoiling you receive every week from our hard working ladies. You're the reason we do it!!

Thanks to Tina, my Assistant Head, for covering my back when I lost internet for nearly 3 weeks. I came back to everything running smoothly!!! I'm happy to be back online; you have no idea how much I missed you all!!!

Now on to the team news....

Hugs,
Jeri

Support News

I can't believe it's July already! The ladies in the Support part of the TLC Garden have been busy bunnies this month - thank you all for being there to support your sisters when they need us! We've sent out support to lots of ladies but could always use more members to send out support so if you've been thinking of joining a Garden then how about the TLC Garden? The Support part of the Garden is definitely rewarding - you get to make a difference in someones life!

If you know of someone who needs support then email us at either ladysessiie@wosib.org, or mandy@wosib.org and we'll set our ladies into action for you :o)

Hugs,
Mandy

Spoiling News

Happy July Everyone!
As most of you know, during the time that Jeri was on LOA last month, Tina & I "Cleaned House". Our Spoiling Lists were cut by almost fifty percent. Several on the lists asked to be removed, but the majority were removed due to bouncing emails and no response to staff.

In May, I sent out a TLC Survey to all of the ladies on our spoiling lists. I asked a few basic questions, hoping to find out who was still active, considering all of the bouncing emails in your reports. I also asked for the Spoilee's Opinions about what TLC means to them, and the majority of the responses let me know, without a doubt, that we do indeed, make a positive difference in the lives of these women.

Many of those that responded said that even though they do not always send a note to their Spoiler's, the cards, emails and gifts have a major impact on their lives. Some of these women suffer from severe depression, are alone, and have a variety of mental or physical health problems, and our efforts are often the only cheery note in their day. (Can you feel me patting you all on the back and giving you warm and loving hugs right now? I Hope So, Because I Am!!!) We should all be very proud of what we do in the TLC Gardens.

On the other side of the coin, almost 50 percent of those surveyed did not reply to the mandatory survey, and have been removed, which has brought us down from 21 lists, to 11. No doubt, the numbers will climb again in the future. Right now, we are Spoiler Rich, as we welcomed 2 more new members this past month, Linda (Slowpoke) & GraphicLynn.

In fact, if you know of anyone who you believe would benefit from some of our Special TLC, please let Jeri or I know so that we can invite them to join.

I Wish All of You a Fantastic Summer (Winter for Our Girls in Oz), Filled with Love, Joy, Laughter, and All Things Bright and Beautiful.

Love & Hugs From Idgie
Spoiling Head Assistant
