Quilters Garden

Happy New Year to all our sisters at WOSIB. We want to say a BIG WELCOME BACK to our New Leader Becca. We are so pleased to have you back leading WOSIB and thank you for all the work you did during the holidays when WOSIB was shut down. We know how hard you worked and the Quilters Garden is here to stand behind you and help you in any way we can. We just know 2008 is going to be a great year with you at the helm.

Our first order of business in the Quilters Garden is to do a roll call and get that business taken care of so we can then get on with the serious business of just "having a good time". :)

We hope all our WOSIB Sisters had a wonderful a Happy Holiday Season. We here in Quilters are all back and ready to get on with the New Year. Many of us were still around during the holidays and were busy finishing up our Christmas Secret Pass Quilt. The quilts were all so pretty and we thank our Assistant Head, Jan, for leading us in this endeavor. Jan does such a good job at this and we always enjoy this Pass Game and have so much fun. We finished up on December 14 just before Christmas. Jan promises us another Secret Pass soon.

Lastly, I would like to welcome Jill W. as the latest addition to our Quilting Staff. Jill will be in charge of most of the Activities in the Quilters Garden. Of course we still will have Jan doing the Pass Game. So if you Quilters see some new games being offered, Jill will be sending those through and I know they will be fun to do. Thank you Jill for taking this on. Jill will also be helping me in putting together our quilts. Thank you Jill for agreeing to accept a position on Quilters staff.

Thanks to all the ladies in the Quilters Garden. We have almost 100% participation in making our quilts. On behalf of the staff and members of the Quilters Garden, we wish you a great month and a prosperous 2008.
