Hello everyone!
We hope all of you had a great Christmas celebration and we wish you all a Happy New Year in which a lot of your dreams may start to come true.
Critters’ Garden continues to grow and blossom! Welcome to new members who have joined us these months. I’m sure they will enjoy it here amongst fellow animal lovers.
In December 2007 we all enjoyed the Holiday Season. Most gardens were closed but not Critters’ Garden for the garden is as lively as ever.
There has been a (rather sudden) change of guard for both Sweetness and Barbara stepped down as Head Critters Garden and Assistant Head Critters Garden. A real shock to the members but the ladies clasped hands for a few days and life went on just like that. Within a few days Dianne and Helen stepped in as Head of Critters Garden and Assistant Head of Critters Garden and all ladies second this change of guard.
Due to this change some information may be gone but that will change from January.
We are now happy to be able to tell you that we have a team put together for Rainbow Bridge Pagemakers, with Bonnie, Daisy and Cathie ready to help Critters’ Garden with any Pet Loss pages.
Our Pet Of The Month for November, voted for by all garden members, is Mouse owned and loved by Acinny. Congratulations to both! You read all about them on http://www.wosib.org/critters/POTM/currentwinner.html .
Critter Keeper Of The Month November, chosen by Sweetness who at the time was the Garden Head, is Shirley (Kitty Kapers) at http://kittykapers.com/)
Please go to http://www.wosib.org/critters/KOTM/index.html to read her full citation and send your congratulations. We didn’t have a KOTM for December because of all the changes going on, but we will be back to normal in January.
Dianne saddled herself with updating the websites for Critters Garden (http://www.wosib.org/critters/) and Rainbow Bridge (http://www.wosib.org/critters/Rainbow-Bridge/ ).
Have a look for it looks great!
Critters Garden no longer does assignments but most of the ladies did one of their own in December: exchanging snail mail addresses to send each other Christmas cards.
The mutual solidarity is great within the group and we share laughs, tears, hugs and lend each other an ear if needed, not only for our fur-families but also for our personal worries and cares.
I would like to thank all ladies of Critters Garden for sharing love and companionship in the group in 2007.
January started off with the monthly Roll Call and the Critters’ Garden rules were forwarded to all members.
