Welcome to the Sister Gardens of 2008
With the year of 2007 now behind us, the Sister Gardens Staff is looking forward to sharing of the love and laughter throughout 2008. As we reflect upon the changes made within our Garden over the past year, we would like to give thanks to each of our Sisters for helping to revive our wilting Garden. Our Garden has survived the changing of guards, as well as the shifting of Assistant Staff, thanks to each of your loving support.
As we ring in the New Year we would like to welcome our returning Leader Becca back into the fold. We appreciate your return and, we are looking forward to sharing in your walk during the year to come. Though we will miss Jeri and Akaysha as our Leaders, we also realize change can be a good thing. We do hope you will find only open arms of support, as you take on this enormous task.
For the Sisters within our Garden Cathie, Debbie and I want to ensure you there will be no changes within our Garden Staff. We are all three honored and blessed to share in your walks of life and, look forward to sharing with you throughout the coming year. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any of us and we will do our best to help and or guide you.
Though there will be no changes in the Sister Gardens Staff, there will be changes within our Garden. If you would like to help till our Garden, please contact the Garden Head with any ideas you may have. In order to keep each of you informed we have compiled the following list of activities within our Garden.
1. Beginning in January, the Sister Gardens will be celebrating Birthday’s for those Sisters within our little corner of the WOSIB on a monthly basis.
2. Graduations will be hosted during the following months: January, April, July, and October.
3. The Birthday and Graduation Celebration pages can be found at the following address: http://www.geocities.com/sisterstaff/
4. Our Assistant Head Cathie will continue to host our weekly fun activities.
5. Our Assistant Debbie will continue to host the Quote of the Day.
6. Our Sister Jill will continue to host the Question of the Week.
7. Our Sister Amy will be hosting This Day in History, twice weekly.
If you are new to the WOSIB Sister-Hood and are feeling a bit overwhelmed, the Sister Gardens Staff would like to extend an invitation your way to join us. Our Garden was born to help mentor our newest members and guide them towards Gardens they may enjoy. We are also known for sharing of the Sisterly Love, support and laughter so if you’ve never had a Sister and always wanted one, our Garden is the place for you. If you have been a member of the WOSIB Sister-Hood for six months or more and would like to help mentor our newest members, please feel free to contact the Garden Head in order to receive a list of our requirements.
In closing we would like to wish each of you a very Happy New Year. We are looking forward to sharing in each of your lives, as we wade through 2008. Have a great year our Beautiful Sisters and hey, don’t forget we’ll be keeping a light on for you!
Big Hugs~
