CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE GARDEN MEMBER OF THE MONTH 2007!!

Staff Member of the Month
Idgie and I had quite a time coming up with this month's SMOTM.There are so many of you deserving of this award each month!!! But after careful deliberation, we both came the conclusion that is one is long overdue.

This month should be especially special, since the SMOTM we chose not only has a full time job outside the home, but also is an assistant in her garden and serves on the Organizational Staff. Her duties there are daunting...She's the first person a new member sees when joining WOSIB and is the last person to hear from if they should leave. Not only does she have to add each member to the members database, check their site beforehand before including them on our webring, but she also makes herself readily available for each and every person who contacts her, to assist with webring code, graphic needs, and has been known to even take valuable time out to help a member with her website problems!!

Her job doesn't end there...she also assists with the Announce List, and each time someone is unsubbed or removed, she must go through the database, take care of the info needed, send out announcements through staff so that individual gardens can take care of it on the garden level, and emails those who are not in compliance with WOSIB rules after Revue has exhausted all avenues. But wait....there's more!!! She also has duties as an assistant head of Spoiling in the TLC Garden by gathering the spoiling reports each week PLUS does her share of spoiling!!! PLUS she is a member of all 3 teams of TLC, does her fair share of support and graphics, and has been an invaluable asset to the Org Staff, regular staff, and Idgie and I.

December was particularly brutal...as I said, she works full time outside the home for a toy store. Christmas was a mad rush, and even with WOSIB on holiday break, she sure didn't take one. She is known to spend at least 4 hours every single day on updating the database, doing the removals, and always takes the time to help out. Between her overtime at work and still doing an enormous amount of work for WOSIB, we thought we'd lose her. But she came through, still smiling and ready for action.

Of course, we're talking about Akaysha!!!! We can't thank her enough for making OUR jobs so much easier!!! She definately is well deserving of this and we are proud to have her as one of the staff. Congrats hon!!!!!

CELEBRATORS
Pagemaker: Our Pagemaker for December has been in the garden for 5 years. Turns in beautiful sets made for the celebrant. She lives in Germany, often with the time difference it's a challenge for her being sure pages are in by due date, always gets them in though. She's dedicated to the garden, a joy to work with. Our December pagemaker is Ailonwy.

Gifter/Signer: If there was an award for celebrator of the year, it would go to our gifter signer this month. She's dedicated 5 1/2 solid years to the garden. I'm not sure she's ever missed signing a guestbook. She hasn't missed even one this year. There is not a day or night she is not doing garden duties. There aren't words for the dedication KuntrySue gives to wosib and celebrators. Our Gifter/Signer for December is KuntrySue

This member of our garden has been not only worked through alot of her own health issues and illness, but she has kept our WOSIB sisters who need extra support taken care of through the whole holiday season. She is one of our best assets in the TLC Garden. Our MOTM is Lady Nathalie. Thank you so much dear, for working through the whole holiday break to ensure our support requests were taken care of!!!
