CO-LEADERS NEWS
As I sit here, early on a frosty morning, sipping my coffee, I'm thinking of the year that just past, the events through the whole year, and reflecting on how I can use them to start off the new year right. I'm not one to make resolutions (I'm still drinking caffeine, still smoking, still overweight, still collecting dust on my exercise CDs...), but I feel its a good thing to do when you have so many people depending on you. So here are a couple of WOSIB resolutions I have made...and unlike my lifestyle resolutions, I resolve to keep these!!
First, I resolve to keep my head up, looking forward, and keep stepping to the beat. I resolve to keep my eyes and ears open more, my mouth less (thats a hard one for a Gemini...LOL). I resolve to remember the important things matter most, and keep the trival where it belongs...low priority. And most of all, even when the times are tough, I resolve to remember why I became a WOSIB member to begin with.
We've had quite a year, haven't we??? Many changes, many losses, some triumphs... But all in all, we're still here, ready for a new year. Time to let the trials of last year stay behind, carry the memories of those we have lost forward, and embrace the chance to start anew! I want to say thanks to all of you for making WOSIB what it is....strong, beautiful, caring women!!
Here's to a great year ahead!
Hugs,
Jeri

Dearest WOSIB Sisters & Friends!
First, let me begin by saying HAPPY 2007! I pray that all of you enjoy Good Health, Love, Joy, Happiness, Laughter, Hope, and Peace of Mind, Body and Spirit this New Year! (Did I Leave Anything Out? Smiles...)
As I near my one year membership landmark on January 11th., I must humbly say that when I joined WOSIB, I never imagined I would become Co-Leader of such a Wonderful Organization! I consider this position an Honor and a Privilege! These past few months have not always been easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is...
I look forward to the New Year with Promise & Hope! I see WOSIB growing and improving. I believe this little space on the WWW will become even more of a valuable resource to our sisters all around the world. The foundation is already in place. I am committed to doing my part to insure that this happens -
Phase I of WOSIB C.A.R.E.S. should be up and running within a week. Once I get all of the bugs worked out of the initial pages, I will be asking those of you interested in the Sister To Sister, Friend to Friend data base to resend me your information. I lost everything when I had my computer problems a couple of months ago, but am ready to pour heart and soul into this endeavor. The goal of this new addition to WOSIB, is to offer Real Life Love, Support and Empowerment to our Special Sisterhood, which means, for those that are interested, stepping outside of the box. It will not be for everyone, but I view it as an opportunity to make the world a better place, starting right in our own back yards. There is no doubt in my mind that this venture will also lead to lifelong friendships!
Phase II - Idgie's Mystery Garden - Smiles... I can give you a tentative name and premise now... Smiles... WOSIB Employment /Empowerment Guild. (Was thinking of calling it Nine to Five or Twenty Four Seven, but came to my senses...)(Maybe I will have a naming contest???)
This Garden is going to take a lot of networking Ladies, and I will be asking for your help and ideas in the very near future. I will send a message through Announce when I am prepared to start putting this together. Won't be long, I promise. I believe this project will work for all of us that are willing to give the time and commitment to the start up process. I also have faith that, over time, this endeavor will benefit the WOSIB Membership as a whole.
Oodles of Love & Hugs to You Dear Hearts!
Idgie
