Happy New Year from everyone at the Designers Garden! We hope that everyone enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. The Designers are back and ready to design for you in 2006!

Every year in January, I choose my wonderful partners/assistants in our Garden for Designer of the Month for the year’s first month. I think they deserve that honor. To find out who they are please click on the link to the new Member of the Month page.

We had no newsletter in December, so I’m pleased to announce the winners of our November Monthly Creative Challenge. Once a month, we have a "Creative Challenge." A graphic or tube is sent and the designers take the raw graphic and create with it. The only rule for the challenge is the use of the raw graphic. The challenge consists of 2 categories. Category 1 consists of cards, tags and globes. Category 2 consists of web sets and stationery. The designers then vote on their favorite from each category and the 1st and 2nd place favorites receive a plaque and are acknowledged in the WOSIB Newsletter. We did our challenge a little different in November since Christmas was approaching and the challenge was to create an ornament.

Our second place winner for our November challenge was Karen. Congratulations to Karen! Karen is not only great designer but she's a school bus driver too! In my book, that makes her an angel on Earth. Stop by Karen's great site at:
