Critters Garden

Hello everyone!

Critters’ Garden continues to grow and blossom! Welcome to Selena who joined us in January. I’m sure she will enjoy it here amongst fellow animal lovers.

As Wosib Staff send out a message that Garden management is no longer supposed to give away awards to members for special behaviour Dianne appointed for the last time a Critter Keeper Of The Month January and her choice fell on Helen in recognition for her unfailing support. This award was supported by all members.

Please go to http://www.wosib.org/critters/KOTM/index.html to read her full citation and send your congratulations.

We in Critters’ Garden will continue to award the Pet Of The Month as always. The reward has always been given purely within Critters, and we have no intention of discontinuing it!

January’s Pet of the Month was voted for by all garden members. We all fell for Flame owned and loved by Bonnie. Congratulations to both! You read all about them on http://www.wosib.org/critters/POTM/winners2008.html .

As awards have been discontinued throughout WOSIB Dianne and Helen thought that some sort of recognition award is appropriate and we are going to do that just in Critters. So record has been keeping of who has done what throughout the month and we produced an award for everyone who has given 100% participation in Critters’ Garden!

We’re delighted to announce that seven of our members have taken part in everything! They all have signed all this month’s guestbooks, sent in gifts as requested, joined in the non-compulsory challenges and generally been very active in the group.

These Ladies are (in alphabetical order only) Alfhild, Bonnie, Helen, Jayne, Lia, Rosie and Shirley (KittyKapers). The ladies received their awards in their own mailboxes. Congratulations to the Award winners!

Critters’ Garden will be giving out Participation Awards at the end of every month, and they will all be different so you can collect all 12 if you want to (and if you take part in everything! )

Last month we sadly had to say farewell to Butch, Martha’s dearly beloved cat. Dianne made her a loving and heartwarming sympathy page in remembrance of her beloved Butch.

Critters’ Garden does not intend to have a monthly Roll Call. Perhaps we’ll do that once every term.
