Welcome to February 2008
The Sister Gardens Staff would like to wish a Happy Valentine's Day to each of our Sisters. February is also Women’s Healthy Heart Month and the 14th has been dedicated to raising awareness for Congenital Heart Disease. In an effort to keep each of our Sisters informed about the risks of heart disease in women and children, we ask you visit the two sites listed below. We do believe this to be important information for all Women of Strength and Inner Beauty and we invite you to join us as we spread awareness worldwide.
The year 2007 found the Sister Gardens going through many changes, including the closing of one of our forums as we worked together to revive our wilting Garden. The Sister Gardens Staff is proud to announce are in the process of reopening Big to Little Sisters Chat, as our Garden continues to flourish. It has been so wonderful being a part of our Gardens rebirth. The Sister Gardens Staff would like to thank each of our Sisters who played such a vital part of revitalization, by sharing of themselves in Sisterly Love.
We would like to congratulate the first Graduating Class of 2008. We are so proud of each of our Graduating Sisters, all of whom are true Women of Strength and Inner Beauty. Thank you Connie, Debra, Destiny, Laura, Martha, Nadia, October, Seraphia, and Shadette for sharing the gift of you with each of us. We are looking forward to sharing in the next steps of your walk of life.
January found our Garden welcoming six new members of the WOSIB into our Little Corner. They have all been such a joy and have brought a new beauty to our home away from home. The Sister Gardens Staff would like to welcome our newest Little Sisters Allie, Jan2, Kelli, Marie, Robyn and Selena!
We do hope you will be made to feel at home within our Sister-Hood and we are looking so forward to getting to know you better as time allows.
If you are new to the WOSIB Sister-Hood the Sister Gardens Staff would like to extend an invitation to join us your way. Our Garden was born to help our mentor our newest WOSIB Sisters, as they become a member of our on-line family. Of course, we are also known for sharing of the Sisterly Love, laughter and support. Flutter on by and have a look around; we’re sure our Garden is the place for you.
If you have been an active member of the WOSIB Sister-Hood for six months or more, and would like to join us in Big Sisters, please visit our pages and fill in an application. We would love to have you join us, as we work together to mentor the newest members of our WOSIB Sister-Hood.
We Pray this month will find you blessed throughout by laughter and smiles. Please be sure to visit the informative pages below to learn more about Heart Disease in Woman and Children, as we work together to raise awareness. Have a great one our Beautiful Sisters and know we’ll be keeping a light on for you!
