The Quilters Garden has been very busy this month accepting new members. We have had the following ladies join the Garden this month and we would like to welcome them:

Welcome ladies. That gives us a total of seven new members and we only lost one new member when we did roll call. We are very please to have you in the Quilters Garden and happy that the Garden seems to be growing. We have a fun time in the Quilters Garden making squares, getting to know each other and participating in interesting activities. We have been having a fun time this month. One of our members mentioned she had done a page on 100 Things About Me and our Activity Director, Orca, took it and ran with it and we all did a quilt on 30 or more things about ourselves. What a fun project and was it fun to look for tubes to fit the things we could think up about our selves. The quilts were all a delight to view and a lot of fun to do.

We are still in the process of replacing our holiday quilts and as always we do our anniversary and birthday quilts each month. Our ladies come up with beautiful squares. These may be viewed at http://www.wosib.org/quilts/completed.html

Hope you all are surviving the terrible snow that has been so bad for some of you and are all able to get around in your cities. Mother Nature has been very unpredictible this year.
