Comfort & Celebrations Nook
Reported by Joanne

Hello! I'm Joanne, and I'm in charge of the Celebrations and Comfort Nook (called the C & C for short). Members of the Literary Garden contribute to this Nook by submitting poems celebrating happy events, such as birthdays, weddings, engagements, births and so on. Poems and/or short stories are also submitted for special comfort and support in the case of deaths of loved ones, favorite pets, and also depression, family difficulties, sudden changes and the like. These submissions are then sent to the Celebrators who include them in their specific pages according to theme needed.

Reviews & Expressions Nooks
Reported by Silveressence

Hi ladies, I hope you all had a wonderful month. Now love is in the air and it's time to celebrate with thoes we love. If you've got something on your mind be sure to jot it down and send it in as an expression! If you've seen a good movie or read a good book, send it in as a review. You can also now review websites as well. I haven't gotten many reviews in the past months and would like to see more sent in - so be sure to keep this nook in mind when doing your submissions. Other than that, all is great and I wish you all the very best February you can have. Happy Valentines Day to you all.

Love,

SilverEssence - Expressions and Review Nooks

Continuing Story
Reported by MaidenFair

February is a time for lovers or romantic or some reasonable facsimile thereof. This month, the Continuing Story ladies have taken on the tale of Samantha and Roger. Two "lovers" on a Singles Valentine Ski weekend, and what can happen when you don't pay attention to details. So come on over and check out the continuing story's February Offering.

Non Fiction Nook
Reported by Kesia aka Ms Nasty

Welcome to February, 2007 and the Non-Fiction Nook within the Literary Garden. I would like to extend an invitation to each of you, to join us in the Literary Garden as we review the writes of January 2007! WOW...2007, can you believe? For the month of January, our Sisters were prompted to write of their first love. Flutter on by and see which moment of the ticking clock brought our Sisters this most beautiful gift!

I would also like to invite you to join us in the Literary Garden, as we continue to explore the depths of our souls, through the written word. Though you may have never written before, I would venture to guess, you have much to share about yourself and the world around you! We are always open to new Sisters and would love to get to know each of you better in the month of February, as we share the changing of seasons and what they mean to each of us. So flutter on by and give your Muse a chance to speak her mind! We'll leave a light on!

Challenge Nook
Reported by Linda

The Challenge Nook
The nice thing about the Challenge Nook is that you never quite know what is coming up for the coming month. The Ladies rose beautifully to the challenge of a cinquain poem for January and I am waiting with interest to see what they do with our February challenge. Well done Ladies - you are all great.

Whimsical Nook

The Whimsical submissions are light-hearted and

come from a place inside where our child resides.

For these are for the young and young at heart..

I would like to thank everyone who submitted this month. I know all of our Sisters here appreciate your thoughts on their pages.

Until next month, Happy Reading,
Christina, Linda, MaidenFair, Kesia, Joanne, Sarah and Silveressence
