FAE

Hello, Fairy Duchess Spirit here. Now that I’m settled atop my toadstool I will share with you, some news of our wonderful Fae Garden.

While the other WOSIB Gardens were getting back from their December time off, we Fae’s were taking a wee bit of time off during January. We were taking long naps, creating new dustings, filling our dusting and potion pouches and fluffing our wings, amongst other things.

New Fairy Welcome ~*
It is such a joyful day when we get to welcome a new Fae into our Garden. Even though our Fae Garden was closed, how exciting it was that we had a new Faery join us.

During January we welcomed:

It didn’t take but a moment for us to see that this new Fae fit right in.

Activities ~*
Magic Dusting Competition: During December, Akaysha was the lucky WOSIB Staff member to be able to participate in our Garden’s Magic Dusting Competition. All Fae’s who participated in the competition submitted a dusting to Akaysha via e-mail. Akaysha then had to choose the winner of the competition. What a difficult decision that must have been. The winner of the contest was:

Dusting Graphic Contest: Our Garden was a flurry of activity during January. Before the silliness got too out of control our Fairy Queen Mandy announced a Dusting Graphic Contest. We have so many very creative and talented Fae. I will tell you who the winner is in next month’s newsletter.

Spoil a Fae: Our amazing Fairies flutter around WOSIB sprinkling fairy dust as they spread joy and cheer to everyone. As we return from our January break we will once again be spoiling one of our own, twice a month.

Other Activities: We will be introducing many new activities over the next few months. Some will be just for fun and others will be worthy of an award.

Fae Garden changes ...

Fae Court ~*
Our dear Fairy Princess Andrea has just returned from a lengthy leave due to illness. She was welcomed back with many, many hugs.

Our Fairy Queen Mandy created a new assistant position and welcomed all Fae to apply. The Fae in the new position will know how to do Fairy Princess’s duties in case the Fairy Princess is absent for any length of time or has to take on the Fairy Queen’s duties if she is absent for any length of time. The new position will be known as a Maiden. I am very happy to introduce:

Congratulations dear Fae!

Our Garden has been so full of fun and good cheer I believe we’ve been Fairy loud at times. I do believe I’ve seen some of my WOSIB sister’s from other Gardens peeking through the wooded areas and across the waters to see what we’re up to. If the Fae inside of you is just spinning to come out and play with the rest of us WOSIB Fae … please come join us. We won’t tell. We know there is a Fae inside many of you.
