Celebrators

Greetings everyone! The Celebrations Garden has been busy creating pages for the Birthdays and Anniversaries of our special ladies. We created 44 pages for January Special Days.

First a plug - we could really use some more Celebrators - so if you have some time - are able to meet deadlines - and would like to help your WOSIB Sisters celebrate their special days, consider joining us. We have two teams - the Signers/Gifters sign all the guestbooks for the pages that are made each month, and contribute gifts for the pages. The pagemakers make the pages and sign the guestbooks. Requirements for pagemakers is a good knowledge of html, time to make at least three sets of pages/month, ability to meet deadlines. If you're interested, stop by the Celebrator's site and submit your application. If you have questions, feel free to contact any of the Celebrators Staff.

If you would like to have us help you celebrate your special day please fill out the form here. If your email address has changed since you've submitted your date - please fill out the form to send us your change of address, so that we are able to contact you when your special day rolls around.

I thought I'd tell you a little about the process we use for planning for our special day celebrations. The first of each month, we send a scout letter to everyone who we have on our list of Celebrants for the NEXT month (so on the first of February, we sent emails to everyone with special days in March). This "scout message" is to check to be sure that we have valid emails for everyone, that they are still WOSIB Members, and that they DO want us to make a page for them. (Some ladies don't - they aren't celebrating birthdays, they've separated, etc.) We ask them to respond by the 10th of the month with answers to some questions that we ask to help us with designing their special days page. So if it's after the first of the month before your special day, and you haven't heard from us, please drop us a line and let us know. There are SO many spam traps on ISP mail now days, that sometimes our messages don't get through - and we really don't have any way to contact you if that happens. Or if your email is bouncing, we won't be able to contact you. If we receive notification that the email didn't go through, and we have an alternate email address for you, we'll try that. I just wanted to explain that if we missed your event, it wasn't because we don't care, it's because we didn't get a response from you to our scout message.
