Literary
Greetings ladies! Can you believe Christmas has crept up on us once again? Where has the year gone? This month the Literary Garden focused on the holidays and Christmas as our theme, what with them looming closer with each year. We also have some fun challenge pieces on the Fun Challenge page, so be sure to take a look! November was a quiet one in that front, but we’ve already begun a few interesting and humourous ones that we invite you to take a look at. And don’t forget to check out our Spotlight Author of the Month! So sit back, and enjoy the creativity and imaginations of the literary ladies!
Fiction Nook
Reported by Christina
The Fiction theme for November was to reflect on Christmas, and then write about the miracle of Christmas from someone else’s perspective – and what it would mean to them. The imaginative submissions are well worth the read!
Congratulation to all our November winners! A special thank you to all who took the time to read the stories and send in your votes.

Reported by Silveressence
Hi ladies, it's December which means we're all running around partaking in different holiday spirits and I hope you are all doing great. Not alot going on in reviews and expressions this month, just want to wish you all the best. May your days be bright and nights filled with love and laughter. If you see anything over the holidays you want to share be sure to jot it down and send it in as a submission! Till next month...
Continuing Story
Reported by MaidenFair
This month the ladies of the Continuing Story Nook tackled a Christmas fairy tale. They spun a whimsical story of Sarah the kitchen elf – and her Christmas Eve Adventure. Have you ever had a day where everything went wrong? Especially a Christmas Eve where nothing seemed to go right and every turn you took brought you up against a new disaster. Well maybe you can empathize with Sarah as she struggles through a very memorable Christmas Eve. Stop by the Continuing Story Nook and read “Sarah’s Christmas Eve Adventure” and enjoy the mishaps and mayhem that can erupt at the North Pole at Christmas time.
Non Fiction Nook

The Non-Fiction Nook
November found us reflecting upon,
a Book and it's external cover...
The things we find when looking within;
the good, the bad and the bitter...
They mold and shape what we show,
our outward appearance a mirror...
Reflecting upon what shines within,
as we struggle to find life's answer...
A Book and its Cover, not always the same,
as we appear tattered and worn on the edges...
But within the beauty shines ever bright,
His Love carrying us thru the ages...
Join us in January when we open again,
our Garden is closed for the Season...
This will give you plenty of time,
to reflect upon your life and your reason!
In His Word-With His Love,
Kesia aka Nasty Angel
Challenge Nook
Reported by Linda
We have given out a challenge
And lots have made reply.
Letters and poems written with love,
As gifts that we can't buy.
A letter given to a friend,
Or poem written with care,
Has been the challenge given
For submissions for all to share.
It's really been a challenge
for members one and all,
And here we stand at the door
Of a year that's new for all.
I challenge you to write for us
and live your lives in peace,
I wish you The Merriest of Christmases
And joys that never cease.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
Love and hugs,
Linda
