Greetings ladies of WOSIB and welcome to the new and (hopefully) improved Signatures of Distinction Garden! We have only recently made the transition from fun group to Garden, albeit a rather tenuous and bumpy one at that. Some of you will remember MoonPixie who was our Head Tagger up until she sadly passed away 13 months ago, leaving the group somewhat in disarray. Despite seeing a high turnover of staff since then up until recently we (the leaders and the members) hope to see this fledgling Garden grow into a wonderfully thriving one!

SOD has always been an easy-going, laid-back group in which members could have fun, but since making the transition to Garden we now have certain responsibilities and requirements. But it is my hope that in doing so, it will still very much be a fun place to be! We just can no longer be lurkers there! *g* Participation is the key to a successful garden, and keeping that participation going, and fun, is the key to successful leadership.

In the course of these recent changes I was entrusted with the position of Head Tagger and therefore made the decision to close SOD for the duration of July while undergoing the transition. Our members fall into two basic categories – Taggers and Snaggers - so with that in mind I derived some fun games for the monthly assignments in which both types of members could participate. I can assure you that there will be plenty to do here now, and lots to keep members busy.

Some of the fun games I have created include – Siggy Swap, Tube n’ Tag Pass, Secret Tagger, Tube/Font/Graphic Challenges just to name a few. I have also introduced the Member of the Month (not to be confused with our more fun Member of the Week) which will be based on the highest participation/credits achieved throughout the course of any given month. Then there are the Monthly Offers, which we will continue to bring to you, as members of WOSIB, exclusively. If you have requested one of the monthly offers previously you will now notice a change in the request forms (thanks to the assistance of Akaysha *s*). Requests will go directly to the tagger, and those requesting will receive a confirmation of your request. Depending on the tagger, your tags may be delivered back to you personally within a couple of days, or filled at the end of the month when offers close. Each tagger has a different set of rules, so please read each of them carefully.

The Monthly Offers will be open for request on 15th August and will run through till 30th August.
