Staff Member of the Month
This month's staff member is a long time member of WOSIB. She's always been active in quite a few gardens this whole time, and last year became the Head of her favorite garden! She puts in countless hours in her garden, has organized her staff to complete efficiency, and runs it like a well oiled machine. While that alone would be enough, she recently took on as Acting Head of another garden that's dear to her heart! This garden is our newest one (a step up from "group") and it was in total disarray. When she stepped up, she not only gathered new staff to help, but has completely gotten the garden in tip top shape, pages where they need to be, and is so organized, I'm in complete envy!! Akaysha worked with her on forms needed and has said what a pleasure it was working with her during the reorganization stage.
I'm sure by now you all know whom we are speaking about.....CHRISTINA (STINA) !!! Congrats hon on a SUPERB job not only in Literary Garden, but our new Signatures of Distinction Garden as well!!

CELEBRATORS
Our COTM was a long time member of the garden. Due to real life situations she had to step back from wosib duties. She rejoinned us this past April as a gifter/signer. Her graphic designing talents itched till she wrote asking to take a page or two here and there :) The garden is blessed having her back with us. Our COTM for July is Natalie.

We are pleased to announce that our Creator of the Month of august is Donna Rose.
Donna Rose is a wonderful lady and she has grown as a creator and her designs are just awesome. It is a pleasure and an honor to have her in Creators Garden. Visit our Creator of the Month page here.
CRITTERS
Congratulations to our Critter Keeper of the Month....Dianne!
Dianne is the epitome of the words "animal lover". It doesn't matter how large or how small that animal is, she loves them just the same. Dianne has a houseful of dogs and cats, a lovely horse and a spoiled house sparrow named Birdie who came for in for rehabilitation and stayed on. Dianne takes in and rehabs wild birds who need a little care before returning to their natural habitat. She is also active in Marine Wildlife Rescue and Critters members know she might just have to dash off at a moments notice to help a seal (or a whale!) who has gotten into trouble. Dianne is always happy to answer questions, whether they be on how to feed a wild baby bird or what to do with problem puppies. Dianne can always be counted on to share her advice and expertise a smile.

1. What is your favorite Literary Garden Nook and why?
Fiction, because I can write a story and take it any where that my heart desires and make it fascinating.
2. What do you like best about being a member of the Garden?
My sisters, I am not really close to my 2 real sisters, but I have a group of the best sisters in the "WHOLE WIDE WORLD" right here, and they are ALWAYS there for me.
3. Do you believe "the pen is mightier than the sword?" Why?
Yes, because you can stop Wolves from being killed or you can petition to have a broken down house condemned. Or in our case, you can make a person feel the way you feel, by putting it in words.
4. If you had the chance to speak on international television and your speech had to be about you, what would you tell the world?
I would tell them that I am just your average person, who enjoys life and writing. Who, if given the chance, would love to visit all of my on-line sisters & friends and meet them in person and tell them how much they really mean to me.
5. Do you have any pets? I have three, a golden named Fluffy, a lop rabbit named Violet and a black and white rabbit named Junior.
6. When life gets you down, who can make you laugh? Truthfully, my son, husband and my sisters here in the garden.
7. Do you collect anything? If so, care to share? I have 2 things that I collect, Eeyores and wolves. Usually my Eeyores are stuffed, but my wolf things could be anything. Stuffed animals, figurines, dreamweavers.
8. Can you tell us one thing about yourself that we might find surprising?
Good question, no, I don't think I can.
9. What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
AS long as there isn't any lightening, I love to stand out in it or go for a walk!
10. Who or what inspires you to write?
Anything really, sometimes my son or husband will say something or sometimes I will see something that just clicks. It is all according to the circumstances.

1. What is your favourite Literary Garden Nook and why?
I don't have just one favorite nook. They are all special for different reasons. It just depends what I am in the mood to write.
2. What do you like best about being a member of the Garden?
I love writing and being able to share. I love reading what the other ladies write as well, and they are so talented! It's great how welcoming they all are and how supportive they are. It's a great group to be in!
3. Do you believe "the pen is mightier than the sword?" Why?
Yes. I can express myself so much better through writing. I can actually get my point across in such a more clear way then I could ever fighting. I think everyone should try expressing themselves in this manner. Maybe then things would get resolved easier!
4. If you had the chance to speak on international television and your speech had to be about you, what would you tell the world?
I would tell them of my life's experiences and what I have learned. I would tell people to cherish your family and friends and to stand up for what you believe in. Also, I would tell people to be true to yourself and believe in yourself.
5. Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have a dog (beagle-dachsund) Missy and a rabbit Queenie.
6. When life gets you down, who can make you laugh?
My husband, my friends and family. They are always there for me.
7. Do you collect anything? If so, care to share?
I collect unicorns and horses. Also, lots of Disney stuff! Plus I read a lot, so I have a large collection on books. On the computer side, I collect sig tags and sound bytes.
8. Can you tell us one thing about yourself that we might find surprising?
I'm a military brat that has travelled all over. I'm very quiet but have a bad temper. I ant to be an animator some day.
9. What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
Read a book or curl up and watch a movie.
10. Who or what inspires you to write?
Writing is a way to express myself. When I can't seem to explain how I feel, writing it in a literary form helps express what I am going for. The love of literature and writing inspires me.
