Greeting WOSIB Sisters,

I hope you are all well. Spring is upon us and it's such a wonderful time of year. We've had a lot going on within WOSIB this past month. We have had some staff changes. You can always view and contact our staff at http://www.wosib.org/management.html. These super ladies will answer any questions you have about their Gardens.

I would like to remind our webring members to please go and check your webring information. We are finding so many sites that are gone or URLs have changed. You can edit your webring information here. If you have lost your site ID and password, email me by clicking here. I will need your name and email to send you your information.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of what WOSIB stands for. It stands for Women of Strength and Inner Beauty. We have a creed that says: All women over 18 years of age are welcome here, regardless of race, sexual orientation, or religion. We do not discriminate against anyone for anything beyond their control. You will find a vast amount of diversity here, and that is what makes us stand out. No one here is the same, yet we are all treated equally. We welcome all women with open arms.

Because we are such a diverse group, which to me, is the very beauty of the group, we don’t allow chat/discussions/jokes about race, politics, religion or sexual preference on our Yahoo Groups. We are all different, we come from many countries and we do things and believe differently. What’s funny to one may be an insult to other Sisters. It has absolutely nothing to do with censorship or taking away one’s right to free speech or right to an opinion. It simply has to do with dignity, respect and sisterhood. With our rights also comes responsibility.
