Cranberry Salad

(This is a really pretty salad for Thanksgiving or Christmas)
3-3 oz. pkgs. cherry gelatin
3 cups boiling water
1-20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
2-16 oz. cans whole cranberry sauce
1 - 8oz. pkg cream cheese
Mayonnaise
1 cup chopped pecans
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add pineapple and cranberry sauce. Pour
half of this into a 7" x 13" pan (I have a really pretty decorative
glass dish that I use) and refrigerate until congealed. Mix cream cheese with
a little mayonnaise and enough pineapple juice to spread easily.
Spread on the congealed mixture and sprinkle nuts on top. Pressing gently
into cream cheese. Pour the remaining cranbery mixture on top and return to
refrigerator to congeal.
