Pet
of the Month is a special award given to Garden Member's
pets for being a very special pet that month. At the
beginning of each month, members send in photos and
descriptions of their pets, then on the 7th of the
month, we start voting for which pet deserves the
Pet of the Month award. Finally, votes are tallied,
and an award given to the winning pet's owner.
At
the end of each year, each pet that was chosen as
Pet of the Month gets entered into one final competition,
Pet of the Year. Once the votes are counted for the
Pet of the Year, then the award winning pet owner
wins a special award!
To
submit your pet
Please email Dianne with the following information, and don't forget to
attach a photograph of your pet!*
• Your Name
• The Garden Name we know you by
• Your email address
• Pet's Name
• Any information you wish to give about the
pet (can be as long or short as you want)
*Photographs are not esseential, but will probably
help you to win the award. Photographs may
be no larger than 250x250 pixels
RULES
• Pets can be of ANY species
(dog, cat, bird, snake, mouse, etc), however they
must be 1) A REAL Pet (we don't have a problem with
you sending in a Tiger, however you must actually
OWN the tiger and keep it as a pet) and 2) YOUR pet.
•
You may enter as many pets as you wish in each month's
competition, however you must send us a seperate email
for each pet you enter.
•
You MAY NOT alter the photograph of your pet in any
way, with the exception of adding a picture frame
or border around the image.
• Photographs must be no larger than 250x250
pixels
•
Any entries received after the 7th of the month will
not be counted or entered into the competition, and
you will have to re-submit next month.
