What is the Big Sisters Garden?

The Sister Gardens were born in order to help our newest W.O.S.I.B Members find their way around all of our Gardens. We are also known for sharing of the Sisterly Love, support and laughter.

Who can request a Big sister?

All Sisters of the W.O.S.I.B. may request a Big Sister.

How do I request a Big Sister?

I would like to join a Garden, but I'm not sure which one.

The W.O.S.I.B has many Gardens to join. The best way to make a decision based upon your needs is to review the Garden Descriptions. If you still have questions, please feel free to contact the Sister Gardens Head and or Assistant Head. This is just what we are here for! We look forward to helping you in any way we can, so give a shout out; we will get back with you soon!

How can I become a Big Sister?

There are two ways to become a Big Sister! You can us as a Little Sister and be active in our Garden for three months. Following this time, if you have remained active and still wish to become a Big Sister you will graduate into the Big Sisters Garden. After you have graduated, you will be assigned a Little Sister to mentor and share of the Sisterly Love with!

Some of our Sisters choose to become an Honorary Middle Sister upon Graduation. These Sisters will be called upon if one of our Big Sisters is on leave, to mentor the Little Sister(s) assigned to her, during said Big Sisters LOA. Honorary Middle Sisters may also be called upon to offer support to one of our Little Sisters in need. This option is perfect for those Sisters who have a busy work schedule at home and, may not be able to offer their time as a full time Big Sister.

The second way to become a Big Sister, is to be an active member of the W.O.S.I.B for six months. You must be willing to join our Yahoo Chat Groups and be actively involved within our Garden during your time as a Big Sister. If you enjoy sharing of the Sisterly Love and laughter, the Sister Gardens are the perfect place for YOU!
